This section covers the foundations of how we operate our professional service to you, so it’s clear, fair and not misleading in any way.
The Process and You
Our industry and regulation requires the treatment of clients to be fair and consistent. More than ever now the emphasis is on firms communicating in a way which is clear, fair and not misleading.
Our profession requires a structured approach to mortgage advice and life insurance advice so that we can avoid any misunderstandings; work with you in the most client friendly way and in line within our regulatory framework. This has massive benefits to us both as clarity and understanding foster a more productive partnership, we achieve more when we work together and the final result is better. So this is how we operate:-
Step 1 - Initial Consultation
We will not charge for our initial consultation. Its preliminary meeting for us to both to discover if we want to work together and if the services that can be delivered will meet your needs. Ultimately if you choose Warwickshire Financial to provide advice there will be a fee or fees involved as you would expect when dealing with a professional adviser and firm. This will be stated at our first meeting and will be a one off fee or fees, this is very transparent and will only become payable if you ask us to work on your behalf and submit an application for a product.
Step 2 - Research Process
We look at relevant existing financial arrangements and how they meet your objectives. We may advise that you do nothing or we may recommend products or services that will help you achieve your goals with greater efficiency or cost savings. The research process is our key to selecting the most suitable Mortgage from our comprehensive panel of lenders, and/or insurance policy from a range of well know providers.
Step 3 - Recommendations
These should dovetail with what you have asked for, to help ensure that the mortgage and protection products you have remain appropriate to your requirements, and should your circumstances change, to provide further advice where appropriate. If you have changed your mind or want to alter what has been offered that’s fine, you are never under any obligation. After all you drive this process; we facilitate access to the a comprehensive panel of lenders and a range of protection providers and ensure that you understand the product you are going to purchase.
Step 4 - Regular Reviews
We offer clients regular reviews to help ensure that the mortgage and protection products you have remain appropriate to your requirements and should your circumstance change, to provide further advice where appropriate. There is no charge for this unless you want more financial advice and is complementary to our service, further reinforcing our partnership and value for money.
